Who are we

In 1996, after 35 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector, Roger VANDER HAEGHEN founded an underwriting agency specialising in special risks. This means we are not  insurance brokers, but are  empowered to underwrite on behalf of several european insurance and reinsurance companies. The services offered by us are similar to those of an insurance company, i.e. contract conclusion and settlement of claims, and we are listed with CFBA.

We have been part of the NATIONALE SUISSE group, our majority stakeholder, since 2007. In 2009, we have achieved receipts amounting to 9.440.000 Euro.

As we know that special risks and 'niche' products don't just require technical expertise and very specific underwriting criteria, we have adopted a flexible approach to communications and the structuring of our office in order to enable us to provide tailormade contracts to you.

Today, our agency has 16 employees and outsources part of its accounting department and  IT development. We work together with more than 850 brokers in Belgium. As of 2002, we have expanded beyond the Belgian market, and thanks to the LPS, we also underwrite risks across the European economic community, mainly in France, but also in the Netherlands, Spain and Italy.

Our success in providing niche products to the Belgian market is widely recognized – Insurance companies like AXA, P&V Assurances, Fortis AG, AGF Allianz and Ethias regularly send their clients to us for specialist insurance packages that fall outside of their product range.
