We can insure all your events, be they private, public or professional!

WHAT DO WE COVER?

Our Total Event Protection includes cover against

  • Financial loss
  • cancellation costs and/or outstanding cost of any measures to salvage the event due to rescheduling or total or partial cancellation of the insured event arising from unforeseen circumstances

Basic cancellation cover

  • Unavailability of the location where the event was scheduled to take place
  • Inaccessibility of the location where the event was scheduled to take place
  • National Days of Mourning

Optional Cover

  • Unavailability of artists and/or key persons
  • Cancellation due to severe weather conditions jeopardizing the safety of staff or the public
  • Material damage (Up to 30.000 Euro of the material and equipment used in the event)
  • Civil Liability of the organizer – covers injury and property damage to third parties by the organizers or one of their employees
  • Personal Accident Cover for technicians, volunteers, participants or spectators

WHAT KIND OF EVENTS CAN WE COVER?

  • Cultural events: Concerts, indoor or open-air plays or performances...
  • Business seminars, conventions, meetings, (press) conferences...
  • Sporting events, air shows, sailing events...
  • AGMs, political meetings...
  • Christmas parties, weddings, private receptions...

HOW MUCH DO WE COVER?

The total organisational budget (including your profit margin or your fee). This amount also corresponds to the maximum contribution of the insurance.

WHAT DO WE REFUND?

Our Total Event Protection allows you to organize your events without worrying. In case of cancellation, we will refund the entire insured amount (non-refundable outlay). In some cases, your profits may also be covered.

THE MOST FREQUENT REASONS FOR CANCELLATION (NON-EXHAUSTIVE LIST):

  • Strikes in the country of origin or destination
  • Unavailability of the departure/destination airport
  • Death or physical incapacitation/disability of a crucial person, following illness and/or accident (subject to a medical examination)
  • Family bereavement (In case of the death of a parent or spouse, provided they are under the age of 70)
  • Massive popular uprisings in Belgium and/or the country of destination
  • Natural disasters
  • Dangerous weather conditions
  • Plane crash entailing a withdrawal of the right to fly
  • Delays due to traffic accidents, deviation of the means of transport used by the travel party
  • Serious on-site accidents and impossibility to find a similar site
  • Serious risks and direct attacks on the travel destination
  • Armed conflict in the country of destination or neighbouring countries, making travel dangerous
  • Administrative obstacles after obtention of official authorisation
  • Evacuation ordered by the local authorities during the trip
  • Border closures ordered by the local authorities
  • Requisitioning of the site by the authorities
  • National Days of Mourning
  • Disasters affecting the city of destination (e.g. fires)
  • Serious disasters on the premises of the policy holder, making the presence of most of the travel party essential
  • Epidemics in the country of destination
  • Requisitioning of Civil Aviation
  • Riots, violent social strife, armed revolution
  • Terrorist attacks on the site of the event
