We act as underwriting agent for several European insurance and reinsurance companies (agreement nr 5801).
With 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector, Roger VANDER HAEGHEN creates an underwriting agency specialised in contingency insurance in 1996.
In 2000 we became a limited liability company with family sharehold and in 2004 our premium income amounts to Euro 5.795.000.
In addition to a high technical level and very specific underwriting criteria, special risks and "niche" products both of while also require a computerised organization and enough flexibility in order to be able to issue tailor-made contracts.
Our agency currently employs 14 persons and outsources part of its accounting and computer development activities. We work together with some 650 brokers, including several major market players as AON, Marsh, Gras Savoye, Van Breda etc… Our activities are not restricted to the Belgian market. Thanks to freedom of services we are also underwriting risks in the EEC, with a strong development in France where we are working together with important French insurance brokers. Recently, we have also established our business contacts in Holland, Spain, Portugal and even in England. The underwriting agency VANDER HAEGHEN & C° also acts as "subcontractor" for several Belgium based companies, including AXA/Royale Belge, P&V Assurances, les Assurances Populaires and recently also with AGF Allianz an important commercial partnership.
